Marshall Public Schools will accept sealed bids for equipping and installing a Classroom Audio Visual Systems/Digital IP Television System. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, 6/4/2012 at 11:00 AM. The pre-bid meeting will occur at the Community Room of Marshall Middle School, 100 E. Green Street, Marshall, MI 49068. Attendance of the pre-bid meeting by all bidders is encouraged strongly. All bidders are responsible for inspection of the site conditions. Sealed bids are due by 3:00 PM local time, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 to the attention of Scott Blankinship, Director of Business Operations for Marshall Public Schools, 100 E. Green St., Marshall, MI 49068. The District WILL NOT accept bids submitted after 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012. All complete, timely received bids will be opened and read aloud at a public meeting to begin at 3:05 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 and held in the Marshall Public Schools Community Room of Marshall Middle School at 100 E. Green St., Marshall, MI 49068. Bids must include a sworn, notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education, or the Superintendent, of the Marshall Public Schools. The District WILL NOT accept bids without a sworn, notarized familial disclosure statement. Bids also must include a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, certified check, money order, or cashier’s check equal to 5% of the quoted price. The District WILL NOT accept bids without a bid guarantee. The District reserves the right to reject any and or all bids.
