Slocum St.   Whitehall, Michigan 49461 DESIGNER: Wright & Hunter, Inc.  2126 Kristin  Troy, Michigan 48084  Phone: 248 594-5850  Fax: 248 594-5851 BID DUE DATE: Until 1:00 PM EDT on January 11, 2012 the Owner will receive sealed Bids for the work as set forth in the Bid specifications and proposal forms (“RFB documents”) at: Sealed Bid Enclosed for Security System Project # - 11-WDS-SEC-01 Jason Helsen – Director of Finance Whitehall District Schools  541 E. Slocum St.   Whitehall, Michigan 49461  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time. Bids received after the above date and time will not be accepted.  Bids that do not include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the Owner and the bidder as defined in Michigan Public Act No. 232 of 2004 will not be accepted.  RFB documents will be available on December 16, 2011 and can be obtained by registering at the following website:  http://www.vlbp.com/launch/wrighthunter/home.php.    Bidding details may be obtained electronically at: http://www.vlbp.com/launch/wrighthunter/home.php.  A Mandatory bidders’ meeting is scheduled for December 22, at 9:00 AM EDT at: Whitehall High School 3100 White Lake Drive Whitehall, MI 49461  All bidders are responsible for inspection of the site conditions. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, money order or bid bond made payable to Whitehall School District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a Bid guarantee. Withdrawal of any bid is prohibited for a period of ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, to reject a bid not accompanied by the required bid guarantee, or by other data required by the RFB documents and Michigan law or to reject a bid which is in any way non compliant with the bid requirements. Submitted bids may be adjusted by unit prices included by the bidder to ensure all bids submitted are compared on the same basis with respect to required materials. The Owner reserves the right to accept alternates in any order or combination and to determine the low bidder on the basis of the sum of the base bid and the alternates accepted.
