SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

The following specifications are the minimum and must be met in order to be considered as a vendor or supplier. Due to the fact that LCISD is replacing or adding to its existing fiber network, multiple fiber count cables and varying lengths will be required for purchases. Minimum Criteria: • All cable must be new from manufacturer. • All glass fiber will be Corning SMF28E+ • All fiber will be single mode.  • All cable assemblies will be armored (single)SA • All cable counts will be comprised of 12 count buffers • All cable assemblies will be gel free (loose tube). Note (LCISD would prefer gel free buffer tubes) • All price quotes will include freight in  • All cut charges should be stated plainly on RFP response based on number of reels per fiber count.  • All reel charges, (if any) should be stated on RFP response by number of reels required in RFP. • All fiber count requests must be of the same manufacturer. • All vendors or suppliers must respond to the sealed bid response in order to be considered for purchase.  • Manufacturer factory test results must be attached to reels at time of shipment. IF a reel, based on length is from another reel or master reel, a copy of manufacturer factory test results should accompany secondary or cut reel and should be noted on test results. • All reels and shipments will be inspected at time of delivery, please state in RFP response return and replacement policies, along with time frames to related replacement of damaged goods. • All or any damaged shipment expenses will be the responsibility of supplier and shipping company.  • Please state any or all lead times for shipment and delivery based on fiber counts. Please provide pricing per foot, per strand count and state availability and delivery timeframe, per fiber count. Note: Due to possible budget constraints, not all fiber counts or reels may be purchased during the RFP timeframe.
