SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
Gobles Public Schools is seeking sealed bids to resurface its existing track, and the bid must include a separate price for a latex surface and a polyurethane surface. The project will include the resurfacing of two high jumps, two pole vault, and two long jump runways. Bid includes removal of the current top surface and include the milling depth of 3/8 inch for stranded latex and 1/2 inch for polyurethane. This bid will also include the painting of all track markings in accordance with the National Federation High School Association specifications. 1. Mandatory Walkthrough: A mandatory walkthrough will take place on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Gobles HS District Administration office. 2. Bids are Due: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked, “Resurfacing of Current Track”. Bids will be due Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 3:00pm and addressed to: Gobles Public Schools Attn: Chris Miller 409 N. State Street Gobles, MI 49055 Gobles Public Schools will not consider or accept a bid received after the date and time specified for bid submission. Bids will be opened immediately following the bid closing. All received bids will be opened unless they were received after the deadline. It is the intention to award the bid once the School Board approves the recommendation of award at the board meeting on Monday, May 24, 2021.
