SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
COMSTOCK PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS ADVERTISEMENT TO BID Bid proposals will be received by Comstock Park Public Schools, located at 101 School St NE, Comstock Park, MI 49321, by mail or hand delivered by 11:00 a.m., local time on Monday, June 13th, 2011. The District will not open, consider or accept any bids received after the date and time specified above. All bidders must provide familial disclosure in compliance with MCL 380.1267 and attach this information to the bid proposal. The bid proposal will be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the bidder or any employee of the bidder, and any member of the Board of Education of the school district, or the Superintendent of the school district. The District will not consider a bid proposal that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Bidders will be required to submit with their Bid Proposals a Bid Security by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the Project is located in the amount of five (5) percent of the Base Bid amount(s). The district will not consider a bid proposal that does not include the required bid security. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding and to accept bid alternates. The Owner also reserves the right to award a contract in any manner deemed by the Owner, in the Owner’s sole discretion, to be in the Owner’s best interests.
