SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

2013 - 2014 INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT  SCOPE OF WORK SPECIFICATIONS: 1. All procedures must be followed as specified in the attached Board Policy, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (Act 451 of 1994, as amended) Part 83, Pesticide Control and Regulation No. 637, Pesticide Use. 2. Herbicide/Pesticide application will occur only under the direction and supervision of District Personnel. 3. All applicators must be certified by the State of Michigan as pesticide applicators. Verification will be required. Any application will be stopped immediately and all future services terminated if any violation occurs. 4. Integrated Pest Management experience must be documented.  References will be contacted. 5. Ann Arbor Public Schools employs a strict IPM program as defined in regulation No. 637 with emphasis on using the most environmentally safe methods. Suitable techniques will be determined by district personnel. 6. Pesticide choice and use will be determined by district personnel. Material Safety Data Sheets will be submitted to the district for review before pesticides are brought onto school property.  7. All service calls will require the generation of written and verbal reports. These services must be included in the flat service call fee. 8. The contractor will provide all the equipment necessary to properly perform the needed pest control services, and the use of such tools are included in the flat service call fee. 9. Maintain onsite IPM binder at each building. 10. One or more vendors may be used at any one time depending on the availability of IPM personnel and the district needs.
